This 6 bedroom, 3.5 bath single family two-story rancher is located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and is situated near the top of a cul-de-sac within the Tanglewood development with resident traffic only. Our home is an architecturally designed living space that was fully remodeled in 2002-2003 inspired by the Not-So-Big-House books by architect Sarah Susanka. It has a comfortable, warm contemporary style with an open floor plan for casual living. It has an organic feel with lots of earthy colors and natural wood features. Soffits and a ceiling trellis (see pictures) allow rooms to be defined without walls and give the illusion of ceiling height changes though all ceilings are 8 ft. |

There is lots of natural wood in the living space of this house - slab maple kitchen cabinets with a light "ginger" stain, natural maple trim and base, Pella wood (pine) windows, solid maple 2 paneled doors, a cherry wood ceiling trellis, Beech hardwood floors. The woodwork in the bedroom area is painted, except in the master bedroom. |
